I hate (some) Americans so much that whenever they get pissed and cry about something it brings me genuine happiness

Like, a few days ago Brazil and China made a deal to trade in our own curriencies, not in US dollars (which is fucking great for us because the price of stuff is gonna cheaper since the conversion will be direct, and not through a currency of a completely different coutnry). And I saw a video of this guy talking on Fox News (which, well, is always a bad sign) about China and getting to this topic and talking about how in a few years, the USA wouldn´t be able to sanction other countries because they (the rest of the world) wouldn´t be doing stuff with dollars.

Like, it fucking amazes me how the USA thinks they can just own the rest of the world and then get all pissy when the rest of the world is telling them to choke on a dick

Sigh... as if the government didn't get ridiculous enough, in 2025th they are planning to straight up track down anyone who uses VPN via their internet/phone providers. Not certain yet whether there will be a fee or legal trouble for it. And after they've made internet literally unusable without VPNs by semi-blocking YouTube and blocking Twitter and Discord, as well as planning to fully block YouTube. 🤡🤡🤡

Doesn't help that our country's alternatives have total content control where literally nothing can be posted without approval of some corrupt people in power, so everything, from political opinions that aren't obnoxiously nationalist to doodles of gay ships (being queer is literally illegal here lol) is a legal trouble too. Well I guess I don't have to be concerned of "being online too much" if soon fandomry will become literally unusable beyond posting on ghost-town websites (such as this one), I might as well cling onto this "terminally online stuff" while I still can tbh. 🙄

Jeez. Every other day in this failure of a country I bless my whole miserable fate for having no plans in life whatsoever, as well as choosing Tumblr and other ghost sites instead of stuff like Insta (also blocked here, and it is illegal to say the name of this site on local websites 🤡) of Twitter. I literally have nothing to lose except easy access to fandomry stuff like references and fanart, imagine how much more fucked I'd be if I had any significant online presence at all? The show’s main characters are literally four 15 year old boys who know ninjitsu and fight robot aliens from another dimension, evil ninja clans, and dangerous mutants. Let’s also include April, Karai and Shinigami who are 16-17 year olds and are each highly skilled and trained Kunoichis. The series even shows that the Turtles and Karai have been training to be ninjas since they were very little (about 6 years old). Let’s add Casey too, who’s also 16-17 and is a fighter in his own right who takes on mutants and alien threats every single day. And yet you question Mona Lisa age simply because she’s in an alien military?

We have to remember that Mona Lisa is NOT from Earth. She is from alien planet called Salamandria. We don’t know her planets rules, customs and traditions. What we do know is that her planet is filled with warriors. Her people care deeply about the honor and glory of battle (Mona stated this herself in S5). They live for war! So we can safely assume that her people recruit young children into their military so they can expand their army and replace soldiers when they die on the battlefield. Salamandrian could very likely be like Saiyans from Dragon Ball Z, a warrior race who have their kids to become fighters the second they are born. My favorite character Vegeta was fighting in battles when he was a toddler!!

It’s also obvious that her planet is not like Earth, best example being that while a handshake on Earth is a greeting and friendly gesture, on Mona’s planet it’s a symbol for challenging someone to a fight (as seen in S4 Ep2). Her planet’s customs and life style are NOT going to be the same as Earths. So the idea of children joining their military is possibly seen as acceptable on her planet.

So the idea of teenage alien girl being in an alien military fleet is not the most questionable thing in the 2012 series.

hc that baiheng had just the biggest older sister vibes. like, yingxing was her baby. she teased the hell out of him over everything and they got lunch together several times a week when she was on the luofu, her dragging him out of the forge blabbering about the latest intergalatic gossip and how he needs to get out more and eat his meals. she was endlessly endeared by jing yuan, always indulging him in seemingly unrealistic ambitions and telling him equally fantastical stories of her journeys across the stars and narrow escapes from peril and despite dan feng technically being older than her, she wasn't ever intimidated by him nor his title. instead she looked at him and saw a kind of humanity he never let himself see in himself. she would've tried to shouldered so many of his burdens if he ever let her in.
